- Website move and redesign
- Platform
- Joomla to WordPress
- Result
- Best Practices score 83 to 100

The Challenge
Where things stood
The practice’s website ran on aging Joomla software.
- Older software like this gets harder to update and keep secure over time.
- Google’s Best Practices check scored the site 83 out of 100.
- The practice wanted a site that showed what makes it different.
What I Did
The plan and the work
Listened first
I learned what the practice loved and didn’t love about the old site, and what it wanted the new one to do.
Moved everything to WordPress
Every page moved from Joomla to WordPress, a platform that’s easier to keep up to date.
Fixed what Google flags
I cleaned up the technical issues behind the Best Practices score.

“Our website design process couldn’t have been better! Dennis took the time to listen to what we loved and hated about our current site, our goals for a new site, and shared his expertise. He is always quick to respond to a question and sets up times when more dialogue is needed. He is very professional and I would definitely recommend this company!!!”
