The Challenge
Where things stood
The owner had tried twice to get his online store built.
- Two earlier attempts with other developers didn’t work out.
- The website showed only a “Coming Soon” page.
- Every week without a store was a week without sales.
What I Did
The plan and the work
Started selling before launch
I replaced the “Coming Soon” page with a testimonial video from a former professional baseball player and a simple email form. Orders came in before the new site was even live.
Built the store
A full online store with a WooCommerce shopping cart, designed with Elementor and the XStore theme.
Launched fast
The project started in February 2024 and the store was live in just over 4 weeks.

The Result
Paid for itself in month one
The first month of sales was more than the cost of the website. Over time, sales covered everything spent on it, including the earlier attempts. Sales stayed steady until the business closed in 2025.
